AN ACT CONCERNING THE AMOUNT A LANDLORD MAY REQUIRE
FOR A SECURITY DEPOSIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 47a-21 of the general statutes be 1
amended to remove the provisions limiting the amount a landlord may 2
require for a security deposit. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To remove provisions limiting the amount a landlord may require for a
security deposit.
