AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PROGRAM TO ASSIST MUNICIPALITIES
IN DEVELOPING PREAPPROVED BUILDING PLANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a program 1
administered by the Department of Housing to assist municipalities in 2
developing preapproved building plans and provide technical and 3
administrative assistance to create a pattern book for each participating 4
municipality. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a program to assist municipalities in developing
preapproved building plans to expedite the permit approval process for
new dwelling units.
