AN ACT PROHIBITING HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS FROM
REQUIRING PATIENTS TO PROVIDE AN ELECTRONIC PAYMENT
METHOD TO BE KEPT ON FILE WITH THE PROVIDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a health care 1
provider from requiring a patient to provide an electronic payment 2
method to be kept on file with such provider. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a health care provider from requiring a patient to provide
an electronic payment method to be kept on file with such provider.
