AN ACT PERMITTING RETIRED TEACHERS TO BE REEMPLOYED
FULL-TIME IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-183v of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
retired teachers to be reemployed full-time by local and regional boards 2
of education without the salary related to such reemployment being 3
included in any pension calculation for such retired teacher. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To address the teacher shortage by permitting retired teachers to be
reemployed full-time in a public school.
