AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
PLAINFIELD VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 5446.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
three hundred thousand dollars, in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, 4
the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Veterans 5
Affairs for the purpose of completing renovations and ensuring 6
compliance with physical accessibility guidelines under the federal 7
Americans with Disabilities Act at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8
5446 in the town of Plainfield. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to complete renovations and ensure compliance
with physical accessibility guidelines under the federal Americans with
Disabilities Act at the Plainfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5466.
