AN ACT ESTABLISHING SAFETY STANDARDS TO PREVENT HEAT -
RELATED ILLNESS IN WORKPLACES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 31 of the general statutes be amended to create safety 1
standards for workplaces to prevent employee exposure to the risk of 2
heat illness, including, but not limited to, requiring periods of rest and 3
access to water. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create safety standards to prevent employee exposure to the risk of
heat-related illness.
