22 | 22 | | Assembly convened: |

24 | 24 | | That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to (1) include 1 |

25 | 25 | | in the ten per cent threshold for exemption from the affordable appeals 2 |
---|
26 | 26 | | procedure deed-restricted dwelling units that are (A) conveyed by 3 |
---|
27 | 27 | | deeds containing covenants or restrictions which require that, for at 4 |
---|
28 | 28 | | least forty years after the initial occupation, such dwelling units be sold 5 |
---|
29 | 29 | | or rented at, or below, prices which will preserve the units as housing 6 |
---|
30 | 30 | | for which persons and families pay thirty per cent or less of all annual 7 |
---|
31 | 31 | | income equal to or less than one hundred thousand dollars for single tax 8 |
---|
32 | 32 | | filers and equal to or less than two hundred thousand dollars for joint 9 |
---|
33 | 33 | | tax filers, and (B) purchased or rented by individuals or families 10 |

34 | 34 | | required to provide proof of full-time employment at the time of 11 |

35 | 35 | | application and maintain full-time employment for a minimum of nine 12 |
