AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF
GREATER FAIRFIELD COUNTY TO ADDRESS THE CRISIS OF
DISCONNECTED YOUTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of two hundred eighty-seven thousand dollars be 1
appropriated to the Department of Education, from the General Fund, 2
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for a grant-in-aid to Junior 3
Achievement of Greater Fairfield County to enhance workforce 4
development programs for disconnected youth in the region. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To appropriate funding to Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield
County to enhance workforce development programs for disconnected
youth in the region.
