AN ACT CONCERNING THE FULL FUNDING OF THE EXCESS COST
GRANT AND RESOURCES FOR COLLABORATION IN THE
PROVISION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 10-76g of the general statutes be 1
amended to delete "within available appropriations" and provide 2
resources for initiatives for collaboration among local and regional 3
boards of education to address special education needs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To fully fund the excess cost grant and provide resources for
collaboration among school districts to address special education needs.
