AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR REPAIRS AND
UPGRADES TO THE SEWER TREATMENT PLANT IN THE BOROUGH
OF JEWETT CITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
seven hundred thousand dollars, in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, 4
the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Energy and 5
Environmental Protection for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to 6
the borough of Jewett City to repair and upgrade the sewer treatment 7
plant. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for repairs and upgrades to the sewer treatment
plant in the borough of Jewett City.
