AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO DOUBLEDAY ROAD IN THE TOWN OF
COLUMBIA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate ten 3
million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department 4
of Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the 5
town of Columbia for improvements to Doubleday Road, including, but 6
not limited to, drainage, the bridge and roadbed. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for improvements to Doubleday Road in the town
of Columbia.
