AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR A SEWER
PROJECT IN THE VILLAGE OF HANOVER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
four million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of 5
providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Sprague for the installation of a 6
force main and sewer lines in the village of Hanover in the town of 7
Sprague. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the installation of a force main and sewer lines
in the village of Hanover in the town of Sprague and replace existing
lines that are over one hundred years old, collapsing and causing sewer
backup into residential homes.
