Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to provide that no person doing 1 business in this state shall require a consumer to present a printed 2 receipt as proof of purchase of any consumer good or service. 3 Statement of Purpose: To provide that no person doing business in this state shall require a consumer to present a printed receipt as proof of purchase of any consumer good or service.
