AN ACT CONCERNING THE RATIO OF SOCIAL SERVICES, MENTAL
HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE
STATE AND PRIVATE NONPROFIT PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Social Services be required to conduct a 1
study concerning the per cent of social services, mental health and 2
substance abuse services provided by the state and private nonprofit 3
providers and report the results not later than December 31, 2025, to the 4
joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 5
matters relating to human services. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To study the ratio of certain services provided by the state and nonprofit
providers.
