AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
MEDICAL FOODS FOR INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH
PHENYLKETONURIA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 38a-492c and 38a-518c of the general statutes be 1
amended to require health insurance coverage for medical foods for 2
individuals diagnosed with phenylketonuria. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for medical foods for individuals
diagnosed with phenylketonuria.
