AN ACT PROHIBITING THE STATE FROM INQUIRING ABOUT THE SINCERITY OF A STATE EMPLOYEE'S RELIGIOUS BELIEFS WHEN REQUESTING A RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION TO A VACCINE MANDATE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the state from 1 requiring any state employee who is subject to a vaccine mandate to 2 assert anything more than that the employee objects to receiving such 3 vaccine on religious grounds. 4 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit the state from inquiring about the sincerity of a state employee's religious beliefs when requesting a religious exemption to a vaccine mandate.
