AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND
ACCOUNTABILITY ACT REQUIREMENTS AND ELECTRONIC
HEALTH RECORDS SYSTEMS AND THE MODERNIZATION OF
MEDICAL RECORD FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 20-7c and 19a-490 of the general statutes be amended to 1
reflect the advent of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability 2
Act requirements and electronic health records systems and the 3
modernization of medical record fees. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To update the medical records statutes.
