AN ACT CONCERNING TUITION REFUNDS FOR FORMER STONE
ACADEMY STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Office of Higher Education pay, pursuant to section 10a-22v 1
of the general statutes, from the private career school student protection 2
account, a refund of tuition to each former student who was enrolled in 3
the practical nurse education program for the period commencing 4
November 1, 2021, and ending February 28, 2023, but did not graduate, 5
in an amount not to exceed the tuition paid by such student. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To refund the tuition paid by a former practical nurse education
program student enrolled at Stone Academy during the period
commencing November 1, 2021, and ending February 28, 2023, but did
not graduate.
