| 30 | 30 | | That the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit certain mergers 1 |

| 31 | 31 | | of utility companies, (2) prohibit a utility company from owning both 2 |

| 32 | 32 | | gas and electric utilities, (3) incentivize the adoption of grid-enhancing 3 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | and energy-efficient technologies and prohibit a public utility company 4 |

| 34 | 34 | | from imposing any fees that would disincentivize the adoption of such 5 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | technologies, (4) repeal any provision providing a right of first refusal 6 |

| 36 | 36 | | to a utility company concerning the acquisition of property, and (5) 7 |
