| 27 | 27 | | That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to (1) require 1 |

| 28 | 28 | | that all affordable housing be affordable in perpetuity, (2) give priority 2 |

| 29 | 29 | | funding to municipalities that partner with housing authorities and 3 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | nonprofit organizations to build affordable housing that will remain 4 |

| 31 | 31 | | affordable in perpetuity, (3) require that housing unit-equivalent points 5 |

| 32 | 32 | | be issued at the time an affordable housing application is approved, and 6 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | (4) include in the calculation of the ten per cent threshold for exemption 7 |

| 34 | 34 | | from the affordable housing appeals procedure any properties that are 8 |

| 35 | 35 | | not deed restricted but are able to be purchased by individuals or 9 |
