AN ACT REQUIRING A MOLD INSPECTION OF RENTAL HOUSING
UNITS PRIOR TO LEASING SUCH UNITS TO A TENANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 47a of the general statutes be amended to require a landlord 1
to inspect rental housing units for mold prior to leasing such units to a 2
tenant. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require a landlord to conduct a mold inspection of rental units prior
to leasing such units to a tenant.
