Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to protect consumers 1 in this state from the financial burden of long-term care insurance 2 premium rate increases, including, but not limited to, a review of the 3 premium rate adjustment process for long-term care insurance policy 4 premiums. 5 Statement of Purpose: To protect consumers in this state from the financial burden of long- term care insurance premium rate increases, including, but not limited to, a review of the premium rate adjustment process for long-term care insurance policy premiums.
