AN ACT CONCERNING ROAMING DOGS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to provide that any violation of 1 a statute concerning a roaming dog be subject to a fine of three hundred 2 fifty dollars for a first offense and five hundred fifty dollars for a second 3 offense and a misdemeanor penalty for a third or subsequent offense. 4 Statement of Purpose: To enhance penalties for unlawfully allowing a dog to roam free.
