AN ACT CONCERNING FAILURE TO MOVE OVER FOR AN
EMERGENCY VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53a-55 of the general statutes be amended to state that a 1
person's failure to move over for an emergency vehicle in accordance 2
with section 14-283b of the general statutes is per se extreme indifference 3
to human life. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that a person's failure to move over for an emergency vehicle
is per se extreme indifference to human life.
