AN ACT CONCERNING THE CIVIL AND CRIMINAL STATUTES OF
LIMITATIONS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT CASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the time limitations 1
for prosecution of and to bring suit as a survivor of sexual assault. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the time limitations for prosecution of and to bring suit as
a survivor of sexual assault.
