AN ACT REQUIRING STATE AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
INVOLVED IN GUN BUY-BACK PROGRAMS TO HAVE A VALID
PERMIT TO CARRY A PISTOL OR REVOLVER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that all state and 1
municipal employees involved in gun buy-back programs have a valid 2
permit to carry a pistol or revolver pursuant to section 29-28 of the 3
general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require all state and municipal employees involved in gun buy-back
programs to have a valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver.
