AN ACT EXPANDING ELIGIBILITY IN THE ASPIRING EDUCATORS
DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-156ii of the general statutes be amended to expand 1
the eligibility requirements of the aspiring educators diversity 2
scholarship program by permitting diverse students who graduated 3
from any school district in the state to apply for a scholarship under the 4
program. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To address teacher shortages by expanding eligibility in the aspiring
educators diversity scholarship program.
