AN ACT DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF JULY AS UTERINE FIBROID
AWARENESS MONTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to designate 1
the month of July of each year as Uterine Fibroid Awareness Month, to 2
raise awareness of the symptoms and treatment options for this 3
condition and improve health outcomes for women. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To designate the month of July of each year as Uterine Fibroid
Awareness Month.
