17	19		AN ACT CONCERNING WORKFORCE SHORTAGES, WORKFORCE
18	20		DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING.
19	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
20	22		Assembly convened:

22	24		Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1
23	25		Community Development shall conduct a study of workforce shortages, 2
24	26		workforce development and training availability. Such study shall 3
25	27		include, but need not be limited to, an analysis of the effect of such 4
26	28		shortages, development and availability on commercial activity in the 5
27	29		state. Not later than January 1, 2026, the commissioner shall submit a 6
28	30		report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 7
29	31		statutes, on the results of such study to the joint standing committee of 8
30	32		the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 9
31	33		commerce. 10
