1819 AN ACT CONCERNING CHILDREN'S SAFETY.
1920 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2021 Assembly convened:

2223 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Children and 1
2324 Families shall conduct a study to determine whether policy and 2
2425 procedural changes within the Department of Children and Families 3
2526 may increase the safety of children in the care and custody of the 4
2627 commissioner. The commissioner shall report, in accordance with the 5
2728 provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such 6
2829 study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 7
2930 cognizance of matters relating to children on or before January 1, 2026. 8
3031 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
