| 19 | 19 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
| 20 | 20 | Assembly convened: | |

| 22 | 22 | Section 1. (Effective from passage) The State Ombudsman shall conduct 1 | |
| 23 | 23 | a study to identify methods to increase youth volunteerism in nursing 2 | |
| 24 | 24 | homes and assisted living facilities. Not later than January 1, 2026, the 3 | |
| 25 | 25 | State Ombudsman shall submit a report on such study to the joint 4 | |
| 26 | 26 | standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 5 | |
| 27 | 27 | matters relating to aging, in accordance with the provisions of section 6 | |
| 28 | 28 | 11-4a of the general statutes. 7 | |
