18	19		AN ACT REQUIRING THE CONNECTICUT HOUSING FINANCE
19	20		AUTHORITY TO UPDATE THE CONNECTICUT OPPORTUNITY MAP.
20	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
21	22		Assembly convened:

23	24		Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2025) Not later than January 1, 2026, the 1
24	25		Connecticut Housing Finance Authority shall (1) update the policy 2
25	26		underlying the Connecticut Opportunity Map, posted on its Internet 3
26	27		web site, to accurately characterize all areas of the state, including, but 4
27	28		not limited to, utilizing a broad array of metrics and economic potential 5
28	29		when determining an area's opportunity score, and (2) update said map 6
29	30		to reflect such changes in policy. 7
30	31		This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
