1020 AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT OF FUNDS TO STATE OFFICERS'

1222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1323 Assembly convened:

1525 Section 1. Section 3 of public act 24-81 is repealed and the following 1
1626 is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage): 2
1727 Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 14 and 15 of public act 23-3
1828 204, the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management shall not 4
1929 reduce expenditures, allotment requisitions or allotments in force 5
2030 concerning the State Treasurer, the Secretary of the State, the State 6
21-Comptroller or the Attorney General, or otherwise restrict or impair the 7
22-ability of said officers to recruit or employ personnel, in order to achieve 8
23-the amounts described in said sections during the fiscal year ending 9
24-June 30, 2025. 10
