1920 AN ACT MAKING MINOR AND TECHNICAL REVISIONS TO AN
2021 ABSENTEE VOTING STATUTE.
2122 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2223 Assembly convened:

2425 Section 1. Section 9-150d of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
2526 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2025): 2
2627 A voting tabulator approved by the Secretary of the State under 3
2728 section 9-242 may be used to count absentee ballots in any municipality 4
2829 at an election, primary or referendum, provided the registrars of voters 5
2930 of the municipality approve the use of such tabulator and the Secretary 6
3031 of the State prescribes specifications for (1) the security, testing, set-up, 7
3132 operation and canvassing of the tabulator, (2) such absentee ballots, and 8
3233 (3) the training of election, primary or referendum officials, as 9
3334 applicable, in the use of the tabulator. 10
3435 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
