AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO MUNICIPALITIES FOR EARLY
VOTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 2026, the 1
Secretary of the State shall report, in accordance with the provisions of 2
section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committees of 3
the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 4
appropriations and the budgets of state agencies and government 5
administration and elections on the costs incurred by municipalities for 6
election administration relating to early voting. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require a study on the costs to municipalities of early voting.
