19	19	AN ACT CONVEYING A PARCEL OF STATE LAND TO THE TOWN OF
20	20	WILLINGTON.
21	21	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
22	22	Assembly convened:

24	24	Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1
25	25	of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Transportation shall convey 2
26	26	to the town of Willington a parcel of land located in the town of 3
27	27	Willington, at a cost equal to the administrative costs of making such 4
28	28	conveyance. Said parcel of land has an area of approximately 0.18 acre 5
29	29	and is identified as a portion of the right-of-way along Route 32 that is 6
30	30	adjacent to the parcel located at 426 River Road. If, for the purpose of 7
31	31	said conveyance, a survey of said parcel of land to be conveyed is 8
32	32	deemed necessary by the Commissioner of Transportation, the town of 9
33	33	Willington shall pay the costs of any such survey. The precise size and 10
34	34	location of said parcel to be conveyed shall be determined by the 11
35	35	Commissioner of Transportation. The conveyance shall be subject to the 12
36	36	approval of the State Properties Review Board. 13
37	37	(b) The town of Willington shall use said parcel of land for purposes 14
38	38	related to the fire station located at 426 River Road. If the town of 15

46	46	(1) Does not use said parcel for said purposes; 17
47	47	(2) Does not retain ownership of all of said parcel; or 18
48	48	(3) Leases all or any portion of said parcel, 19
49	49	the parcel shall revert to the state of Connecticut. 20
50	50	(c) The State Properties Review Board shall complete its review of the 21
51	51	conveyance of said parcel of land not later than thirty days after it 22
52	52	receives a proposed agreement from the Department of Transportation. 23
53	53	The land shall remain under the care and control of said department 24
54	54	until a conveyance is made in accordance with the provisions of this 25
55	55	section. The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver any deed or 26
56	56	instrument necessary for a conveyance under this section, which deed 27
57	57	or instrument shall include provisions to carry out the purposes of 28
58	58	subsection (b) of this section. The Commissioner of Transportation shall 29
59	59	have the sole responsibility for all other incidents of such conveyance. 30
