32+BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF C OLUMBIA, That this 21
33+act may be cited as the “Floodplain Review Authority Congressional Review Emergency 22
34+Amendment Act of 2023”. 23
35+Sec. 2. Section 6B of the District of Columbia Applications Insurance Implementation 24
36+Act, effective April 5, 2021 (D.C. Law 23- 269; D.C. Official Code § 6- 507), is repealed. 25
37+Sec. 3. Fiscal impact statement. 26
38+The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Chief Financial Officer as the fiscal 27
39+impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975, 28
40+approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1-301.47a). 29
41+Sec. 4. Effective date. 30
42+This act shall take effect following approval by the Mayor (or in the event of veto by the 31
43+Mayor, action by the Council to override the veto), and shall remain in effect for no longer than 32
44+90 days, as provided for emergency acts of the Council of the District of Columbia in section 33 2
