17		-	To amend, on a temporary basis, the Pesticide Operations Act of 1977 to clarify that the Mayor

20		-	BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
21		-	act may be cited as the “Pesticide Operations Temporary Amendment Act of 2024”.

23		-	Sec. 2. Section 4(b)(3) of the Pesticide Operations Act of 1977, effective April 18, 1978
24		-	(D.C. Law 2-70; D.C. Official Code § 8-403(b)(3)), is amended by striking the phrase
25		-	“commercial applicators” and inserting the phrase “commercial and private applicators” in
26		-	its place.

28		-	Sec. 3. Fiscal impact statement.
29		-	The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Budget Director as the fiscal impact
30		-	statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975, approved
31		-	October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1-301.47a).
