2323 BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 23

2525 act may be cited as the “Senior Citizens’ Storage Fee Protection Act of 2024”. 25

2727 Sec. 2. Minimum percentage cap on storage units for senior citizens. 27

2929 (a) The Mayor in partnership with DACL shall establish a minimum percentage 29

3131 cap on storage facility fees for senior residents; 31

3333 (b) The Mayor and DACL shall determine the criteria for senior residents to 33

3535 qualify for the storage facility fee cap benefit. 35

3939 The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement in the committee report as the 39

4141 fiscal impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act 41
