| 18 | | - | WHEREAS, Regina Snead, owner of Baby Einstein Child Development Center, and |

| 19 | | - | other staff smelled gas and immediately leapt into action to evacuate 16 children and infants |

| 21 | | - | WHEREAS, all of the children evacuated safely as a result of the vigilance, organization, |

| 22 | | - | and direction of Baby Einstein Child Development Center’s staff; and |

| 23 | | - | WHEREAS, Baby Einstein Child Development Center has provided District families in |

| 24 | | - | Anacostia affordable, convenient, and consistent childcare for over 10 years and continues to |

| 25 | | - | provide childcare for families at a temporary site until the facility can be rebuilt. |
