To recognize and celebrate Rev. Dexter U. Nutall on His 15th Pastoral Anniversary at New 14
Bethel Baptist Church 15

WHEREAS, The Council of the District of Columbia wishes to recognize and celebrate 17
the remarkable 15th Pastoral Anniversary of Rev. Dexter U. Nutall; 18

WHEREAS, Rev. Nutall has been a steadfast leader and spiritual guide in the New Bethel 20
Baptist Church, dedicating his life to the service of others and the advancement of faith; 21
22
WHEREAS, during his tenure as pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. Nutall has 23
made significant contributions to the well- being of our community, promoting unity, compassion, 24
and hope among residents; 25

WHEREAS, under his leadership, New Bethel Baptist Church has grown both in 27
membership and in outreach, providing essential services and support to those in need, including 28
food drives, community service projects, and mentorship programs; 29

WHEREAS, Rev. Nutall’s commitment to social justice and advocacy has inspired many, 31
fostering a culture of inclusivity and understanding within our diverse community; 32

WHEREAS, Rev. Nutall’s messages of love, resilience, and faith have uplifted countless 34
individuals, encouraging personal growth and spiritual development; 35

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF 37
COLUMBIA, that this resolution may be cited as the “Rev Dexter U. Nutall 15

Pastoral 38
Anniversary Recognition Resolution of 2024”. 39

Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia recognizes and honors Rev. Dexter U. 41
Nutall for fifteen years of dedication and spiritual leadership at New Bethel Baptist Church. 42

Sec. 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon the first date of publication in 44
the District of Columbia Register. 45
