18-WHEREAS, Andre Strickland served as the Constituent Services Director with
19-dedication and a deep understanding of the needs of District residents, always placing
20-their well- being at the forefront of his work;

22-WHEREAS, Andre Strickland demonstrated an exceptional ability to listen to
23-constituents, ensuring their voices were heard and acknowledged by the Council and
24-District agencies;

26-WHEREAS, Andre Strickland show ed an extraordinary talent for problem-
27-solving and navigating complex government processes to swiftly and effectively address
28-the issues raised by residents;

30-WHEREAS, Andre Strickland helped residents access vital government services,
31-from housing assistance to Medicaid , meaningfully impacting their quality of life;

33- WHEREAS, the District’s senior residents developed particularly strong bonds
34-with Andre Strickland due to his tireless advocacy helping them navigate bureaucratic
35-challenges and ensuring they received support in their times of need ;

38-notes and calls from residents expressing their deep gratitude for Andre Strickland’s

53-this resolution be cited as the “Andre Strickland Recognition Resolution of 2024”.

55-Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia recognizes Andre Strickland for
56-his outstanding service as Constituent Services Director, with heartfelt thanks for his
57-contributions to the District and best wishes for his future endeavors.
