She completed her general surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship in trauma/surgical critical care/emergency general surgery at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. She has been working to apply the principals of public health to trauma and to expand knowledge of the needs and long- term outcomes in this population. Dr. Hall has published her work on center -specific racial disparities in live liver donation, racial disparities in cancer risk following transplant, and cumulative incidence of cancer following transplant. She has also worked to develop new methods for measuring disparity in health systems and has continued to pursue her dream of documenting and expanding the definition of long-term outcomes of trauma patients. Dr. Hall believes that research should be transformative. Her goal is to use her findings to inform policy and practice in the trauma community with the ultimate outcome of better health and more comprehensive care for trauma patients. Dr. Hall received her Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she focused on epidemiology and biostatistics.
