605605 Dr. Erin Hall is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the
606606 Georgetown University School of Medicine and is a trauma
607607 surgeon and critical care physician at MedStar Washington
608608 Hospital Center. She completed her general surgery residency at
609609 MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship in
610610 trauma/surgical critical care/emergency general surgery at the R
611611 Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. She has been
612612 working to apply the principals of public health to trauma and to
613613 expand knowledge of the needs and long- term outcomes in this
614614 population.

616616 Dr. Hall has published her work on center -specific racial
617617 disparities in live liver donation, racial disparities in cancer risk
618618 following transplant, and cumulative incidence of cancer following
619619 transplant. She has also worked to develop new methods for
620620 measuring disparity in health systems and has continued to pursue her dream of documenting and
621621 expanding the definition of long-term outcomes of trauma patients. Dr. Hall believes that
622622 research should be transformative. Her goal is to use her findings to inform policy and practice in
623623 the trauma community with the ultimate outcome of better health and more comprehensive care
624624 for trauma patients.
