To disapprove reprogramming request No. 25-0073 of $20,600,000 of FY 2023 Federal Payment
funds within the Department of Human Services from the Emergency Rental Assistance
Program to the Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program to cover costs associated with
replenishing contingency funds.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Emergency Rental Assistance Program Funding Removal
Reprogramming Request No. 25-0073 Disapproval Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. (a) Pursuant to section 47-363 of the District of Columbia Official Code, the
Mayor transmitted to the Council reprogramming request No. 25-0073 in the amount of
$20,600,000 in FY 2023 Federal Payment funds within the Department of Human Services from
the Emergency Rental Assistance Program to the Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program to
cover contingency spending associated with the Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program.
(b) The Council disapproves the $20,600,000 reprogramming request.
Sec. 3. The Secretary of the Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of
this resolution, upon its adoption, to the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
