RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT 	OF COLUMBIA, that this 
18 resolution may be cited as the "Board of Professional Engineering Michael McKenna 
19 Confirmation Resolution of 2024". 
20 Sec. 2. The Council 
of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment 	of:

27 as a land surveyor licensed in the District member 	of the Board of Professional Engineering, 
28 established by D.C. Official Code§ 47-2853.06(e), for a term to end January 	19, 2027.

3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy 	of this resolution, . 
30 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office 	of the Mayor.

Mr. Michael McKenna is a Land Surveyor and partner at Bernard F. Locraft 
Civil Engineers, where he’s worked since 1985,  
His began his career as a survey technician before becoming a land 
surveyor. Skills and experiences include balancing and computing closure 
of field traverses and supervising the work of the field party. 	Mr. McKenna 
also negotiates with lender’s counsel regarding desired certification 
language on insured title surveys. 	He also prepares, field checks, and 
finalizes topographic surveys.  Mr. McKenna received his D.C. license in 
2007 and is now a partner in the firm.
