IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
October 15, 2024
To confirm the reappointment of Mr. Edward Downs to the Real Estate Commission.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Real Estate Commission Edward Downs Confirmation Resolution of 2024”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Mr. Edward Downs
S Street, NW
Washington, DC 20009
(Ward 2 )
as a member of the Real Estate Commission, established by D.C. Official Code§ 47- 2853.06(h)
and Mayor' s Order 2009- 11, dated February 2, 2009, as a real estate broker licensed in the District
for a term to end December 13, 2027.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
