To confirm the appointment of Ms. Maggie O’Neill to the Commission on the Arts and
Humanities.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, t hat this
resolution may be cited as the “Commission on the Arts and Humanities Maggie O’Neill
Confirmation Resolution of 2024”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Ms. Maggie O’Neill
Rhode Island Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20001 (Ward 2 )
as a member with specific interest, ability, or experience in theatre and performing arts of the
Commission on the Arts and Humanities, established by section 4 of the Commission on the Arts
and Humanities Act, effective October 21, 1975 (D.C. Law 1- 22; D.C. Official Code § 39- 203),
filling a vacant seat formerly held by Amy Bormet , for a term to end June 30, 2025.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
