To confirm the appointment of Ms. Kwelli Sneed as the Executive Director of the Office of
Neighborhood Safety and Engagement.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Executive Director of the Office of Neighborhood Safety and
Engagement Kwelli Sneed Confirmation Resolution of 2024".
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Ms. Kwelli Sneed 8th Street, NE Washington, DC 20011
(Ward 4)
as the Executive Director of the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement, established by section 101 of the Neighborhood Engagement Achieves Results Amendment Act of 2016, effective June 30, 2016 (D.C. Law 21- 125; D.C. Official Code§ 7- 2411), to serve at the pleasure
of the Mayor.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
