| 29 | | - | Fund Coordination Temporary Amendment Act of 2024, e ffective September 18, 2024 (D.C. |

| 30 | | - | Law 25-212; D.C. Official Code § 42- 851.11) , will expire on May 1, 2025. |

| 31 | | - | (c) As of March 2025, District legal services providers report that payment administration |
|---|
| 32 | | - | and communication issues have prevented final resolution of a small number of cases for |
|---|
| 33 | | - | homeowners who continue to benefit from foreclosure protection. |
|---|
| 34 | | - | (d) Emergency legislation is necessary to prevent a lapse in the law prior to the |
|---|
| 35 | | - | fulfillment of its purpose. |
|---|
| 36 | | - | Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia determines that the circumstances |
